Time to pack my board away

Guess its time to pack my boards away for a couple of days. Going to the folks for Christmas. Had lots of waves the last few days! Had it really good last night with only three other guys in the line-up. And the sunset was amazing!It lightened up the sky and made it look like the sky was on fire. Again.. how fortunate are we! We just have to try to ignore the negative and focus on the positive and beautiful things in life. Went to the beach with Tracy last night before I went for a surf again. Got my camera full of sand while I was photographing some surfers. It will teach me not to get in the way of a sand fight!I cant complain because boys will be boys! Hope it doesn't eventually cause long term damage.Excellent day though! 

Wow

Wow wow wow! What a day yesterday was! First went to this new coffee shop that Tracy and her friends had discovered. Its called Vovo Telo. Not too shabby I have to admit. Nice and quiet area with some good food. Meanwhile at the beach, a beautiful summers day, only difference was that you mix it with plenty waves! Really had fun. Stephen and I was surfing for close to three hours. And then just before sunset I snuck in for another quick session. Was nice to surf pipe (Pipe, Port Elizabeth,South Africa) with only two other guys again! Its been too long! After the nightcap surf, I got done and went to the aKing concert. I must say that they are pretty good live! Its also been too long since I've seen a good live gig! So all in all brilliant day! Keep em coming!

Just better

Been really lazy at home today. Tracy has friends over so I'm just minding my own business in the room. Jenny our agent for the flat phoned yesterday and said that she found people who are interested in our flat. We told her last year that we will be leaving in February. But now I'm not so sure as to when I would be leaving anymore! We spoke about it and decided that we would sign until end of July. It was a harsh slap in the face wake up call. I should really be appreciating this place a little more. Its like paradise just better!

Beeeg smiles

Yes beeeg smiles it was. Yesterday Hein and I went for a surf. He has been coming around for a surf quite often lately. Maybe the bug has bitten. I think he is getting the hang of things as his strike rate for standing has vastly improved! I think he got to about 55% which is rather good for someone with so little experience. It was great fun watching his face light up as he made his first real wave! He even did an air punch! Hoo hoo! Stoked!





Lately I have been quite addicted to capturing moments. I think it is amazing that you can capture moments and relive them whenever you need to! Amazing moments can be captured  by the push of a button and be enjoyed for years and years to come!

So ya

Went to J bay for a week with Tracy's family. Was sure I would get decent waves if only for one day or even half of that. Surprise, East all week!Surfed Kitchen Windows for an hour until my leash broke. When I got back to the beach Tracy tells me that I forgot my car window wide open and that they had to guard my car for like 25 minutes.  Went out for some deep sea fishing on Monday, but all I could do right was chum the water. Was great fun though! Hope to be back soon.

Summer times are here

Played some touch rugby on Saturday. Didnt go too well. As Murphy would have it there were waves the whole day! Just great! Got a fat tan at rugby though..

Not doing much at school the last week and a half. Did about an hours work yesterday and an hours work today. Signing and completing exam results and doing write-ups about the learners progress. We have been allowed to leave school at 12 the last week while the kids are at home, so getting home early means heaps of time for the beach! I will miss these days!
