For those who dont quite know

Port Elizabeth (Where I currently reside) is infamous for small waves. Or relatively small waves all the time. Although lately while looking to move to other countries ie. the Arab Emirate or somewhere in Asia, Port Elizabeth's surf scene looks rather good..I mean we can do a drive to JJJJ-Bay  in under an hour, and other lesser known (and equally good)  waves on the East that would be difficult to get just anywhere.

So what I'm trying to say really is that I have a lot to be thankful for at the moment!

Been having a tough time lately as we have not had the response from schools abroad that we were hoping for. Tracy recently got her exam marks, and passed all of her subjects. She is now known as the honorary miss T Butt. Well done! This has really been a tough year for her and respect for getting through it all!

Been busy.. had waves for a change

 Can you believe it, we have had waves since Friday! And only today it turned east! Its amazing! Its Wednesday today! Tracy had her wisdoms out yesterday! Shes been really strong!

Good memories

Just came across these pics. Was Jbay June 2010. Great day for waves..left Jbay after that day though.

Paid in advance for two weeks stay at "Dodgy" lodge. Got there and the place was a dump! Dirty, smelly! And that from me who is not exactly the neatest person! After two nights there, I decided to cut my losses and go home! Atleast I scored some decent waves..

Sunny Sunday

We woke up early morning, Tracys parents were sleeping over. Uncle John was so excited to drive his new vehicle that he left at 7 o clock. Tracy and Aunt Nova also left soon after that. They went to Plettenberg Bay for a couple of days as a reward for Tracys hard work over her exams.

I Met up with Mark Wynne from Mexican Surf Co at  friends coffee bar today. Met him about a year ago at Beach Music in Jbay. Nice man, was nice to see him again. Some people just have enthusiasm for life. Its good to see that there are still people like that out there.

Hein also came over today, we surfed till our arms fell off. Played some PS3 after that and had some Steers.

Almost forgot, my old friend Willie got married this weekend. Was a nice party, very nice to see all the old friends again!
