Exam day

Woke up quite early, don't know if it was from the excitement of the exam or the swell! Its my final day of exams and my most difficult one, while they predicting the biggest swell of the year so-far. Read somewhere that outer reefs in Cape Town will be getting 40-60 foot? Is that even possible?

Glad I'm not getting paid to surf that! Good luck to those who are!

Another

Another day of waves.. typical.. It's the day before my last exam! Ran down for twenty minutes before dark. Got some really good ones by our standards! Not really big, just perfectly shaped and running, and the odd barrel! (Which I didn't make!)

Tomorrow the swell is supposed to peak! I write at two, so will see how much learning I get done before then!

Soma

So today we got soma waves.. pity I actually had to learn!

One month to unemployment!

To say that I am excited is quite an understatement! Although I know that this might be a very difficult time in our life's! Somehow I need new challenges and widen my horizons!

Tracy and I have both landed a job in Taiwan! A smaller city/town west of Taipei. It's called Hsinchu.Dont ask me to pronounce it.. yet..

So I finally go sorted..and then..

Okay so I finally got sort of sorted with a job, after searching for basically six months, I eventually landed a job that I was happy with. It was at the Emirates National School just outside Abu Dhabi in a City called Mohammed Zayed Bin City. Only thing is Tracy hadn't found a job yet.

I had to eventually turn it down. I still think it could have worked out, but you never know..

Sometimes in life you consciously make wrong decisions. Or are they??
